Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for the History of Emotions

Emotions shape individual, community and national identities. The ARC Centre of Excellence for the History of Emotions uses historical knowledge from Europe, 1100 – 1800, to understand the long history of emotional behaviours. The Centre was established in 2011 under the ARC Centres of Excellence program.

The Institute of Advanced Studies at the University of Western Australia

The Institute of Advanced Studies aims to raise awareness of and encourage debate on contemporary issues. The Institute is a member of the Australasian Consortium of Humanities Research Centres and one of only six Australian members of the International Consortium of Humanities Centres and Institutes.

The Centre for Medieval and Early Modern Studies, University of Western Australia

The Centre for Medieval and Early Modern Studies promotes excellence in all aspects of research into pre-modern Europe and its modern afterlife. Its primary research mission is to create new models of collaborative interdisciplinary enquiry within this broad field. 

The Postgraduate Students’ Association, University of Western Australia

The UWA Postgraduate Students’ Association (the PSA) is the representative body for postgraduate students at UWA. Its core functions are representation, advocacy, planning activities and providing services to postgraduate students.
